Submission

Submissions fall into two types:

Regular papers describing complete works of original research. Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers that are not being considered in another forum, up to 15 pages in length.

Short papers describing late-breaking results, novel positions on document analysis systems or demo presentations. Short papers must be at most 4 pages long. Accepted short papers will be presented as posters and will appear in an extra booklet, not in the official DAS2020 proceedings.

Authors must indicate their intention to submit a full paper by submitting their paper details and an abstract by the Abstract Submission deadline ( Jan. 15, 2020). The full paper can be uploaded either at the same time as the abstract or by the later Regular Paper Submission deadline ( Jan. 15, 2020). Complete submissions of short papers (both abstract and paper) can be made at any time until the indicated corresponding deadline( Jun. 01, 2020).

All submissions will undergo a rigorous review process with a minimum of 3 reviews considering the originality of work, the quality of research or analysis of experience, the relevance to document analysis systems, and quality of presentation of ideas. The review process is single-blind, therefore authors are required to include their names and affiliations in their papers as illustrated in the paper formatting templates provided.
